FREENOW, the leading European taxi app, has integrated Alipay+ cross-border mobile payment solutions into its services in seven European countries: Spain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, France, Greece, and Austria. This partnership enhances the travel experience for Asian visitors to Europe, especially during the peak tourism season this summer.
Alipay+, the official sponsor of UEFA EURO 2024™, offers a suite of cross-border mobile payments and digitalization technology solutions. It has developed a mini-program enabling Asian tourists to book a FREENOW taxi and pay with one of three e-wallets: Alipay (Chinese mainland), AlipayHK (Hong Kong SAR, China), and Touch ‘n Go eWallet (Malaysia), just as they would at home.
AlipayHK users can earn personalized rewards with every FREENOW ride, adding an extra benefit for travelers from Hong Kong.
