Amagi Media Labs is set to open its initial public offering next week, bringing a ₹1,788.62 crore issue to the market and giving investors a closer look at the company’s financial turnaround, issue structure, and listing plans before applying.The issue will consist of a combination of a fresh issue of equity shares and an offer for sale (OFS) by existing shareholders.

The total issue size stands at 4,95,46,221 equity shares, each having a face value of ₹5 per share. Out of this, the fresh issue comprises 2,26,03,878 shares, aggregating to ₹816.00 crore, while the offer for sale includes 2,69,42,343 shares, amounting to ₹972.62 crore.The company plans to list its equity shares on both the BSE and NSE.

Shareholding Structure

Prior to the IPO, the company has a total paid-up equity share capital of 3,44,34,108 shares. Following the completion of the issue, the shareholding is expected to increase significantly to 19,37,35,066 shares, reflecting the dilution from the fresh issue.

Financial Performance

According to the DRHP, the company’s financial performance over the last three fiscal years shows improving revenue trends, though profitability remains under pressure.

For the financial year ended March 2025, the company reported:

  • Total income of ₹1,223.31 crore, up from ₹942.24 crore in FY24 and ₹724.72 crore in FY23.
  • EBITDA of ₹23.49 crore, marking a turnaround from negative EBITDA of ₹155.53 crore in FY24 and ₹140.34 crore in FY23.
  • Profit after tax (PAT) loss of ₹68.71 crore, narrowing from losses of ₹245.00 crore in FY24 and ₹321.27 crore in FY23.

The company’s asset base stood at ₹1,425.00 crore as of March 2025, compared to ₹1,308.08 crore in March 2024. Net worth improved to ₹509.45 crore in FY25 from ₹496.80 crore in FY24, though it remains below the FY23 level of ₹644.49 crore.

Reserves and surplus turned positive at ₹227.73 crore in FY25, a notable recovery from negative reserves of ₹379.40 crore in FY24 and ₹372.68 crore in FY23.
