Santander is searching for talent on TikTok to form the first international music band born online
Banco Santander introduces the inaugural international music band originating from TikTok, unveiling the “Louder Together” contest. This initiative aims to discover musical talents across seven countries where the bank operates, uniting them in Barcelona to record both a song and a music video. Targeted at Generation Z, the contest features acclaimed artist Omar Montes from Madrid as its ambassador, guiding winners alongside international stars.
Contest Mechanics on TikTok
Running exclusively on TikTok until August 8th, participants can showcase their original songs by uploading videos tagged with #loudertogether and mentioning @santandersmusic for Spain. The campaign spans Brazil with rapper Xama, Portugal with composer Pedro Goncalves, Chile with singer Augusto Schuster, Argentina featuring dj Tommy Muñoz, Uruguay with singer-songwriter Faculto Balta, and Mexico led by RBD’s Dulce María.
Santander’s Commitment to Music
Banco Santander leverages music to engage youth globally, exemplified by Santander SMusic in Spain, a platform integrating the national music ecosystem. Initiatives like Brazil’s “Free” account offer 24/7 support and cultural event pre-sales, while Chile’s “Más Lucas Joven” caters directly to young audiences with tailored financial and cultural benefits.
Strengthening Bonds with Generation Z
Through TikTok, Gen Z’s preferred platform for creativity and community, Banco fosters collaboration and creativity with “Louder Together”. By empowering young talent beyond financial services, Banco supports their aspirations through cultural and social initiatives, cementing a lasting connection with this vibrant demographic.
