Bandhan Bank News Update:
Bandhan Bank Ltd. has appointed Ratan Kumar Kesh as the interim Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Kesh will assume his new role on July 10, succeeding Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, who will retire on July 9 upon the completion of his current tenure. This announcement was made by the bank in an exchange filing on Saturday, following the approval from the Reserve Bank of India and the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Kesh, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer, brings nearly three decades of experience across various industries. He has held the positions of Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer since March 31, 2023, overseeing multiple functions including Technology, Operations, Customer Experience, Transformation, Internal Audit, Recovery, and other support functions.
During his tenure at ICICI Bank Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., Yes Bank Ltd., and Axis Bank Ltd., Kesh was part of the core team leading organizational transformation, focusing on technology, digital initiatives, governance, quality, and customer experience.

Prior to joining the banking sector, he gained experience at the Aditya Birla Group and RPG Group. Kesh holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Durgapur and has completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from NMIMS, Mumbai.
