SEBI in action
Ashishkumar Chauhan, the CEO of NSE, announced during a post-earnings call on Monday that the regulator has rejected the proposal to extend market trading hours. He stated, “There is currently no intention to extend trading hours, as SEBI has returned the application we submitted. This decision was made because the feedback from stock brokers did not meet SEBI’s requirements.”
