Stock Market holiday: According to stock broker Zerodha today Indian equity, F&O and currency market will remain close on account of Maharashtra Day. Commodity market will be close for the first half and trading will be open in the evening session (5:00 Pm onward).
Since it’s also a settlement holiday, your commodity account balance on May 01, 2025, will not include the credits from:
- Profits (Realized and Marked to Market) from trades or positions in the commodity derivatives on April 30, 2025.
- Credits from exiting option positions on April 30, 2025.
